Why isn’t my LEDGlow light turning on even though the module shows a red light?Updated an hour ago

A solid or flashing red light on the control module indicates that it is receiving power, but it does not confirm that the LEDs themselves are working. Depending on the kit, a red light may also mean the control box is in pairing mode, power-on standby, or an error state. If the lights are not turning on, check the following:

  • Verify that all LED tubes, strips, or pods are securely connected to the control box.

  • Inspect the wiring for any cut, pinched, or damaged wires that could cause a short.

  • Make sure the inline fuse is intact and not blown.

  • Test each light individually by plugging them directly into the control box to rule out a defective section.

  • If using a remote, confirm that it is properly programmed to the control box and try reprogramming if needed.

  • Check if the kit is in sound mode, which may prevent the lights from staying steadily on. Switch to a solid color mode to confirm.

If all connections check out and the lights still do not activate, the issue may be with the control box itself.
