Why do my golf cart lights turn on by themselves when I charge the cart, and how can I fix it?Updated an hour ago

 If your LEDGlow lights automatically turn on while the golf cart is charging, it’s usually related to how the control box is receiving power. Even when the kit is turned off, certain conditions in the cart’s electrical system may still activate the lights.

How to fix this issue:

• Inspect all connections for loose, cut, or pinched wires that may cause shorts or unwanted power draw.

• If the issue persists, a relay or wiring adjustment may be required to ensure power is only received when the cart is in use.

• If your kit includes the Auto On/Off feature, verify it is set up correctly. If enabled, this feature can sometimes cause the lights to turn on automatically under certain conditions, such as during charging. You can adjust or disable the feature using the control box.

• Enable Auto On/Off: Turn the kit off, then press and hold the Mode and Color buttons on the control box. When the lights turn teal, release the buttons. Turn the kit back on and test for functionality.

• Disable Auto On/Off: Turn the kit off, then press and hold the Mode and Speed buttons on the control box. When the lights turn orange, release the buttons. Turn the kit back on and test for functionality.
