The brake and hazard light features are built into the control box and can be activated through the app settings.

When the brake light feature is properly installed using the blue trigger wire and enabled in the app, all LEDs will illuminate red when the brakes are applied. The kit can either stay solid red or pulse (flash) depending on your settings, and it will return to your previous color or pattern once the brakes are released.

The hazard light feature does not require any additional wiring. When activated through the app or remote, the entire kit will flash amber, overriding any current color or mode until the hazard function is turned off.
