When mounting the 36” strips the LEDs should be facing the outside of the vehicle and the wires should be facing the front. Mocking the strips up following those guidelines will allow you to determine the left from the right.
Our Advanced Million Slingshot lighting kits offer a waterproof control box and strips, however, the wiring connections are NOT waterproof and we suggest using waterproofing tape to wrap the connections.
Since this kit is based on our Motorcycle lights it uses the Bluetooth Advanced Million Color Motorcycle Control Box. So, to operate the kit you will need to use the LEDGlow Motorcycle Control app. The app icon looks like this!
The Slingshot Lighting kit is based on our Motorcycle lighting platform. Unfortunately, because of this, it does not offer any form of music or sound activation modes at this time.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer any Wheel Rings that are compatible with this kit.
Unfortunately, at this time there is no option for turn signals on this kit. However, this kit offers a hazard lights feature that automatically overrides any color or pattern and flashes amber LEDs alerting other motorists on the road.

This will require some testing. In some applications, the brake lights are ground-controlled instead of the standard 12v switch. A relay will be needed to change the polarity of the trigger so that the brake light feature will work in that situation.
Unfortunately, you cannot select what strips turn red when the brakes are applied. The entire kit will turn red when that feature is active.
When the Blue wire on the control box is given 12v it will automatically change the color of the LED strips in the kit to Red. Once power is removed from that wire it will reset back to the setting the kit was previously on.
The Bluetooth control module can handle up to 1,000 LEDs on the kit. If you have any questions if you can add more please contact customer service and they will be happy to help figure out if you can add more to the kit.
Yes you can add additional lights to the kit you may need additional harnesses.
The kit does come with everything you would need to install other than the relay or expandable circuits. If you are using the brake light control feature a relay kit may be required to use this feature.
This really depends on how much light you would like from the kit or where you would like to light up on the slingshot. Our base kit does have the ability to have extra lights added if you are not satisfied with how much light is coming off the kit.
