However, if you are only planning on using double-sided tape as the mounting method for your application then it would be highly recommended to use <a href="https://www.ledunderbody.com/3-pack-automotive-adhesion-promoter-packets/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Adhesion Promoter</a> to form a chemical bond between the tailgate light bar and the surface of your truck, creating an even stronger hold.
